In this exciting one-and-a-half-day workshop, Dr. William Shaw will discuss when to choose Organic Acid Testing (OAT) and/or environmental pollutant testing (GPL-TOX) and personally guide you through how to interpret the results and achieve the best outcomes for your patients, using these two globally best-selling tests.

Supported by Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, who will be sharing his own clinical experiences and case studies using these tests.

If you are looking for new ways to help patients with difficult to diagnose and chronic health issues, this workshop is for you.

All Attendees receive a FREE Organic Acids Test! (Value $335.00)

Test kit with 100% off voucher is supplied to attendees on the day (you must attend to get the free test)

DAY 1 – THURSDAY 23rd May

Learn how to use this comprehensive metabolic test in your practice to help with your most difficult-to-diagnose patients. With 74 markers, including those for yeast and bacteria overgrowth, inflammation, oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, oxalates, gastrointestinal dysbiosis, and nutritional imbalances, the Organic Acids Test (OAT) helps you discover the underlying causes of many chronic conditions. When you attend this workshop, you will not only learn how the OAT can be used in clinical practice, but also ways to use it along with other functional assessments, as well as what kinds of treatments have been effective.

  • 8:00 am – REGISTRATION
  • Speaker Introduction (8:25 am)
  • Role of Organic Acids in Human Metabolism
  • The Link Between Clostridia Bacteria Toxins & Health Issues

DAY 2 – FRIDAY 24th May

This workshop will focus on the epidemic of environmental toxin exposure, from the many chemicals we encounter every day to mycotoxins released from mould. You will learn about many common environmental pollutants from the 172 chemicals tested by the GPL-TOX Profile. You will find out how these chemicals can affect our health and what steps can be taken to help detoxify the body. You will also learn about the seven types of mould mycotoxins tested for in the new GPL-MycoTOX Profile and about the chronic health conditions mycotoxin exposure can cause. We will review how to use these tests in your practice to create the most effective treatments possible for your patients.

Why Great Plains Lab Organic Acids Test?

The Organic Acids Test is the most comprehensive available for an insight into a wide variety of metabolic pathways, with exclusive markers including those for HPHPA and oxalates, which are highly correlated with many chronic illnesses. The OAT includes 74 markers, such as those for yeast and bacteria overgrowth, inflammation, oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, gastrointestinal dysbiosis, and nutritional imbalances. Folate metabolism markers (also found in the OAT) are gaining considerable interest in the autism community, showing that treatment of the MTHFR metabolic pathway can lead to significant reduction in autistic symptoms.

Why The Great Plains GPL-Tox?

Every day, we are exposed to hundreds of toxic chemicals through products like pharmaceuticals, pesticides, packaged foods, household products, and environmental pollution.

Because exposure to environmental pollutants has been linked to many chronic diseases, The Great Plains Laboratory has created GPL-TOX, a toxic non-metal chemical profile that screens for the presence of 172 different toxic chemicals including organophosphate pesticides, phthalates, benzene, xylene, vinyl chloride, pyrethroid insecticides, acrylamide, perchlorate, diphenyl phosphate, ethylene oxide, acrylonitrile, and more.

Why Attend This Workshop?

Whether you are a medical doctor, naturopath, family practitioner, internist, neurologist, paediatrician, psychiatrist, or nutritionist, the information available from the OAT and the GPL-TOX can be applied to any practice. More than ever, patients are looking for integrative treatment options for their health concerns. These tests can greatly enhance your patient outcomes.

What will I gain form this Workshop?

If you are looking for new ways to help patients with difficult to diagnose and chronic health issues, this workshop will greatly improve your skills. Dr Shaw and Dr Sharma will not only show you how the OAT can be used in clinical practice, but also how to interpret the results and achieve better health for your patients.
