Practitioners can now access their patients test results by simply logging in to RN Labs’s practitioner website. All results received from the 1st October 2016 will be accessible.
Each practitioner’s Test Result Portal can be accessed 24/7 via the Practitioner Access section of the website and lists their latest test results on the main dashboard. There is also the option to search by typing in the patient’s name.

The Test Result Portal is automatically available to all RN Labs registered practitioners and is accessible using the same website login. A condition of accessing the portal is a password change (for security) and answering a few questions regarding preferences. Practitioners can choose to download their results or keep them stored in their portal for fast and easy access.
How the Portal Works
- RN Labs upload the results to the portal on the same day that they become available from the lab.
- The practitioner is notified by email with a link to their portal to view or download the results.
RN Labs will continue to mail the results to those who request this service.
RN Labs utilise the service of Amazon S3, which provides guaranteed secure cloud storage. Test Results stored in Amazon are encrypted and not directly accessible as a new link is generated every few minutes for the PDF to avoid possible leak of information.
