A 29-year-old male presented with chronic gastrointestinal symptoms consisting of a high stool frequency with loose and watery stool motions up to 7 times a day, alongside abdominal pain.
The patient had previously been diagnosed with Crohn’s and had tried Azathioprine (immunosuppressant) for his diagnosis. However, this had led to fevers and a worsening of Gastrointestinal symptoms leading to a higher frequency of bowel movements, loose stools and abdominal pain. |
Treatment
• 1 Tablespoon of Enterosgel daily |
Outcome
The patient experienced immediate relief upon beginning Enterosgel. After only one dose, the patient noticed significant improvements in the texture of the stools (they were more well-formed), reduction in frequency (which had halved) and reduced abdominal pain. The patient also noticed a worsening of his symptoms on the days he does not take Enterosgel and considered the immediate reduction in gut symptoms (within hours) the greatest benefit of using Enterosgel. The patient has now made Enterosgel a consistent part of his daily health routine and would recommend it to anyone who is experiencing GI symptoms. |
