Case Study: A Fast Resolution of Symptoms for Overwhelmed Working Mum of 3

A 36 year old working Mum of 3 young children presented with stress, overwhelm, fatigue, brain fog and poor memory recall.

Her symptoms included:

  • A persistent eye twitch for the last 3 weeks (muscle/eye twitch common symptom when stressed/lack of sleep/increased caffeine).
  • Red eczema-like patch on skin (last 6 months) – bumpy to feel and red but not overly noticeable. Reactive to body care products; skin will flare with certain washes.
  • Loose bowel motions most of the time for the last few weeks.
  • Weight-gain around middle.
  • General fatigue, mental & emotional overwhelm, lack of motivation for exercise and things generally enjoy/loss of joy in life.

Her diet consisted of:

  • A high caffeine intake (2-3 coffee per day).
  • A high alcohol intake (2 glasses wine 4 days x week, often more on weekends).
  • Adequate protein, veggie and carb intake.
  • Adequate fluid intake.

She was already taking:

  • RN Labs CDP-Choline.
  • RN Labs Theanine.
  • Nordic Naturals Arctic Cod Liver Oil, 1 tb daily.
  • Lion’s Mane mushroom once daily in morning for cognitive function.

Treatment

Day 1: RN Labs Magnesium Glycinate

  • 2 capsules, then 2 more the next hour and finally 3 capsules before bed.
  • From there, 2 capsules twice daily.
  • therapure pure collagen peptides + C
  • 2 scoops in morning smoothie

Day 2: Enterosgel

  • 2-3 times per day
  • RN Labs Lipotropex
  • 2 scoops twice daily

Day 3: therapure my skin

  • 2 capsules twice daily

Outcome

Day 1:

Within 30 minutes of starting RN Labs Magnesium Glycinate, the intensity of her eye twitch decreased. The following day it had completely disappeared.
RN Labs Magnesium Glycinate continues to keep the eye twitch at bay but she can feel it start up again if she doesn’e get enough sleep and has more caffeine.

Day 2:

Enterosgel and RN Lipotropex were started and she drank some alcohol that night and woke up with pimples starting to erupt (a rare occurrence for her). The patient decided she probably overburdened her system and that RN Labs Lipotropex may be increasing her toxin release, pushing out through her skin, so she decided to quit alcohol while detoxing.

Within 1-2 days, her skin was back to normal with no skin eruptions. therpure my skin was added.

Day 4:

The patient noticed an increase in energy and naturally began consuming less caffeine, noting she didn’t feel so fatigued and mentally drained. Her skin was less red, with a noticeable improvement in the eczema patch, which was still there but much less bumpy and less red.

Days 5-6:

The patient reported her energy has increased substantially and she is consuming less caffeine as a result. She is also feeling less overwhelmed, and just generally better overall. She noticed weight loss around her middle, feeling much lighter and just generally better all around. She says she has more motivation for exercise and life in general.
Enterosgel tube lasted about 6 days. Bowel motions took a few days but did return to normal.
