Case Study: Berbersorb use alleviated Metformin-based gastrointestinal adverse effects

A 28-year-old woman presented with a range of gastrointestinal adverse effects caused by Metformin.
Treatment

The patient trialled Berbersorb for insulin resistance for three weeks at a dose of 1 capsule per 500mg of Metformin.

Outcome

The patient stated that she experienced a significant reduction in her gastrointestinal symptoms. However, when she tried to reduce the Berbersorb dose, her gastrointestinal symptoms returned, although they were not as severe as they used to be.

The patient said she was happy with the outcome and would continue taking 2 Berbersorb capsules alongside her 1g of Metformin per night.
