A 71 year old female patient who had been seeing a practitioner for some time, was starting to experience dieting fatigue. She presented with Bilateral plantar fascitis, Sleep disorder, Severe fluid retention in legs, Migraines, Obesity, Incontinence, OA and Subclinical hypothyroidism. For three months, her practitioner had been supporting her with bouts of strict dieting (protein leveraging, lower energy/carb). But her weight loss plateued and she became frustrated.
